Food courts can be good place for vegetarians to eat at in Bangkok, especially if you have meat-eating friends with you. Food courts have a wide choice of dishes to chose from, so there will usually be something to suit all tastes. Tien Sin is one of my regular places to eat lunch in Bangkok, and is one of a very few that sell Vegetarian Somtum (Papaya Salad). Usually this is made with fish sauce. It located down a small lane off Soi Pipat 2, which is a road that connects Soi Convent and Soi Pipat. The nearest BTS Skytrain stations are Chong Nonsi (3-4 minutes’ walk) and Sala Daeng (5-7 minutes’ walk). This place is only open Monday to Friday and mainly attracts local office workers.
